Dynasty Buffet in Valparaiso

We came here for my daughter's birthday dinner. We generally enjoy eating here anyways, but one of my sons mentioned it was her birthday and they surprised her with a cute wind chime and a cake.

Food is usually fresh and my drink never runs dry. Good selection on the buffet.

My family, grandkids and I love it. Hope it survives Covid. We miss it. Excellent food!

The food was good, but the waitress we had was very rude. Asked us to leave, cause needed that booth when clearly there were other tables and booths in that section. I can definitely say I wont be going back!

Updated review. Its a great place to eat, good food, great price. There are always delicious choices for everyone's taste. There are so many tasty things that I can't eat it all ! I hate to go after eating because I know I am leaving all that good food! When we are able to go out again, its the first place I'm going!

The food quality was great and the buffet well stocked. Wait staff were decent but sometimes a little slow to fill drinks. Overall a great Chinese buffet.

I eat here quite regularly with my family, normally I have no complaints other than the service sometimes is subpar but that's just a buffet for you. But on this particular evening, not only was the service absolutely miserable, but the food was not up to their normal standards. Then to top it all of I went up for dessert and found a four inch long wad of hair, tangled with dust in a piece of cake I had brought back to the table with me. I brought it to the manager's attention, he didn't seem concerned or bothered by it in the slightest. We will not be returning.

Loved this place. Approximately a $10 per person Asian/ American buffet. Waitstaff take care of drinks and remove dirties. The ice cream bar was a nice bonus. Clean restrooms, good food, and polite waitstaff, what more can you ask for?

I eat at this restaurant very often and the staff is very good and the food is always fresh. Prices are very affordable. I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. All of the food is also very tasty and delectable. Perfect service and will continue to eat here.

Always a treat to eat at a great Chinese Buffet. We go here apx 3 times a year. They have 3 hot bars, 1 cold bar, one dessert bar, and then another bar with salad and hard dipped ice cream. You can also go to the hibachi grill and they will cook everything up fresh. It's a very nice restaurant and if you don't find something to eat there it's your own fault! Enjoy !!!

By far my favorite Chinese buffet in the area!You can tell they use fresh ingredients and their own recipes. So your classic favorites can taste a little different, but so much better with fresh ingredients!Their only downfall is that they rarely have the food labeled correctly. It's a bit irritating and can be difficult if you're allergic to seafood or something and suddenly add a scoop of something containing shrimp to your plate.The staff is friendly and will always make sure your glass is full and old plates removed in a timely manner.

Really enjoy coming here. Havent really been disappointed to much glad to see hot food 30 mins before closing and swapped spoons. Decent service for a larger night buffet.

We are regulars at Dynasty and have been since they opened. We even go there for Christmas dinner with my sisters! Everyone gets to enjoy the holiday and no worries of being chained to the stove. We've never had anything bad from there as far as the food goes. But, it is time for a bit of remoleding, the chairs & tables have been through some abuse over the years. The price is still great for a buffet dinner as well.

It is not even close to what it was 5 years ago the black pepper chicken and the hot chicken was so hard u could not even eat it me and my wife both felt sick when we left there if you want a good Chinese buffet go to the one in Portage the great Wall its really sad because there was a time where I would of drove out of my way to eat at the Dynasty buffet very sad don't know what they have changed but I wish they would go back

Food wasn't bad, but I suspect fillers in the food. I ate very little and was stuffed. I also really didn't like the service, I never did get my refill.

Its yummie here my only thing is I wish they had a bigger selection of sushi and kept up with it. The rest if the food is yummie and the staff are really nice :).

The staff is lovely and attentive. The restaurant is always clean and calm and the food is always divine. It's also a very affordable price! Can't beat that!

Sushi and salad/cold bar here is done well. Some of the more Americanized food (pizza,roasted potatoes,fish fillets, etc) leaves something to be desired. Honestly, i think they should skip it and focus more on the Asian dishes. But, I still always leave full and happy on my old standbys:lo mein noodles, spicy pepper chicken, garlic green beans, and chicken skewers.

Always a great choice! I'm never disappointed, and I really enjoy the people who work here. The food is always good, and fresh, and the restaurant is always tidy. We have gone out of our way many times to come here, and it remains a popular birthday meal choice amongst my children.

Price is great and the servers are friendly and fast. The food tastes great if you go at peak times because it is getting changed out so fast. If you go at off hours sometimes the food might be a little dried out, or just taste like it has been sitting there for a little while.

Let's of choices, plenty of everything. Great sesame chicken and even an icecream bar. Good price to.

I go here very often and have showed this place to many of my friends and family. I love it so much! The buffet is always fresh and hot food. There are certain days where they serve crawfish and oysters. Which is very different and difficult to find in the area! The sushi is AMAZING for buffet sushi. I’ve never gotten rude service everyone who works here has excellent customer service. I’d have to say this is my favorite place to eat. If you’re wondering about giving it a try, please do! You won’t regret it. I travel about 45 minutes to eat there and it’s so worth it every time!

We have been eating here since day 1!!!! The coconut creamy shrimp and bbq ribs are my favorite!!! Always fresh

Wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel like you are in China and Japan at the same time without traveling far. The staff is very polite towards customers and super friendly. The food is magnificent. You can't begin to describe how delicious the food is especially my personal favorites are the cheese pizza and the fruit cocktail with the bananas, strawberries, and the yummy fruit sauce the restaurant chef mixes into the fruity cocktail. Even the music they play is very relaxing to listen to and enjoy while having a delicious meal there with friends and family.
